Some one ordered a book from me on the 14/03/11 i sent on 15/03/11. Apprently the book hasnt arrived.

When i make a refund do i give all of it?

The payer paid 6.30 but i only got 4.34(to cover book and p/p)

Ive not had to do one before so quite confused.

If you were the buyer, would you want all of it back? The fees will be reversed as you refund.

So i would get the 2.00 something diffrence? I dont mind refunding all of it but it wouldnt seem fair for the seller to refund the money they never saw.

When you make the refund, it reverses the fees you have paid automatically. So if you process the refund in full, the fees you have paid will be reversed on your account. Hope that makes sense, but it should be obvious to see on your 'statement' when you view it.

This is exactly what Amazon expect of sellers and will expect you to fully fulfil your obligations as a seller.

Simply pursue a claim from Royal Mail in slower time, so you don't lose out (assuming you have a certificate of postage).
