Badly handled bank error (Santander)

As Santander was involved it is almost certain to be their mistake.
if you read the op, then she does admit that she did not check where this came from. Also, this money was not hers to use and it belonged to someone else who was waiting for it back. Santander has offered an intrest free overdraft (or an intrest free loan if you look at it that way) that will not affect her credit file. £50 a month means that the op must have owed quite a lot, and they did release the funds required also. I don't see what else they can do or what they were expected to do, you cannot expect to pay off a debt at a timescale that suits you as could take years! And i know that the amount would have been significant as i work at santander collections, so know how long can be offered to pay back a debt. Live well laugh often, love much.
1 overdraft with Santander paid off, credit card almost gone, 1 overdraft that has been halved!! V chuffed with myself!!! :T0 -
Santander troubles?
I've just recently applied to move my current account and ISA from Santander to The Co-operative bank, however when my new ISA provider sent the transfer authority form to Santander, they've closed my ISA but have transferred my money to a holding account with themselves.
Ive been in touch with their Customer Service who keep telling me that it will take 15 working days to transfer my Isa with Santander to The Co-operative.
Aren't they supposed to transfer old ISA provider i.e Santander to new ISA provider i.e The Co-operative bank? Please help me0 -
