Thanks for that - I wasn't able to find anything on the site but then I was googling "exchange" rather than "trade-in".

It's this Technika tv which has freeview hd but it only has a resolution of 1366 x 768 which isn't ideal for freeview hd although I didn't see it on so it may do a good job of re-scaling the picture!

Just went direct to tesco.direct and typed in the code to add to basket and it didn't recognise it at all! Can't find it anywhere directly related to tesco so a bit hmmmm...

I think that this is the alternative to the 3000 points offered if you buy it at Tesco Direct... I can not see anything about the tv exchange so I guess this is the store offer.

As far as I know the store and the Tesco direct compete for sales, hold different stock etc (which is why if your tesco direct TV is bust you can not change it in store without getting a refund and then re-buying an item).

I may be wrong but this is what I reckon

I think you might be right as all the ones on Tesco Direct with the 3000 point offer are included in the Trade-In option in store.

Theres also a Sony trade in just started aswell (28th March) not quite sure of the full list but the trade in price varys from £50+ depending on which tv you buy. I know we only had the 32" Sony 403 and 40" Sony 403 models in Store which were on the offer, where you got £50 off the 32" with an old tv and £100 off the 40" model with an old tv. There is more on the Sony list its just i only concerned myself at the time with the ones we had
