Hsbc cc hike

Just had a letter from HSBC informing me of a hike in interest rate to 29.9% apr, up three %

Thats me sunk!

Fuel up, food up, heating up, electric up, income down.

    Just read back of letter (something I must really remember to do!) and it says how to opt out of hike.

    When they informed you of the rate rise it should have given you details of how you can opt out the increase, close your account but continue to pay back at the same rate you are currently doing - see this article for more info Reject credit card rate hikes
