Opened a fake email with attachment from facebook now I am panicking.

Options
I got what on reflection was obviously a fake email from facebook, with an attachment which I stupidly opened. I wouldnt mind but I never really go on facebook. It purported to be that a friend had posted something on my wall.

Clearly fake, this was obvioulsy sent for some purpose and now I am worried that some little !!!!!! has my details and may be robbing me blind. On the plus side my computer seems to be running fine. How do I find out if something bad has got into it? Also my accounts also seem to be ok.

Cant understand why I would have been sent this email if something sinister wasnt going on. Any advice please

Thanks for the replies, I have deleted my facebook account, didnt use it anyway. As for the advice I am a computer idiot and most of the above sounds like a foreign language to me. I really do appreciate your help but I havent a clue what pot the log means!

at the end of the scan a box will pop up with lots of text in..
hold down your left button and move till all the screen is blue then right click on the blue and select copy. Come here and when you post reply right click again and select paste

This is the same, hopefully in instructions you understand

Download and install MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds (everything it finds needs to be TICKED to be removed)
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan

True keyloggers etc, tend to be very difficult to pinpoint (Most av programs would completely fail to fnd them). Im not saying you have one, I just cant say for certain you dont have one

    Please run COMBOFIX
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
    Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
(If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)
