Apple outlet store would be one. Refurbished but sold by Apple, so has a warranty etc

the education price quoted for a MBP for my OH was different online than instore so check both

The 'Higher Education Store' (as in Uni or College) has a higher discount than the Education (primary and secondary school) store. Different for different devices, site is only accessible from campus, but generally around 14%. Therefore it would be cheaper to put the device through the business and not pay 20% VAT.

Try and negotiate a discount with the Apple store manager.My Oh is great at this he has a laugh and a joke with the manager and gets them in a good mood!!

We got student discount through son being at college,took him to store with us, did not have to buy it in his name,bought in mine and put it through the business.Depending on how much you are spending you may be able to get other things thrown in as well.

BIL got discount(10% I think) just by negotiating with the store manager.
