Hi there,
I am thinking of buying that laptop (P100-429) from pcworld (800quid - quidco - 5% code) = 712.... The only thing I dislike about it is that the battery life is only just over 2hrs.
Hence I am thinking of getting a replacement battery for it but I need to know what battery is in it already. I have downloaded the user manual from toshiba and it is a generic p100 manual and just states that you either get a 6 or 9 cell battery!!!
So if you have one is there anyway one of you could check to see what battery you do have 6 or 9 cell with the mAh rating which will either be 4000mAh ish or 6000mAh ish depending on whether you have the 6 or 9 cell version.
This info will help me decide whether to go for this laptop or not!!! I am aware that there is also a 12 cell battery available but am unsure whether this will fit a p100-429.
I have phoned toshiba tech support!!! and the guy there did not know and said asking whether the p100-429 had a 6 or 9 cell battery was too specific a question!!!!!
Anyhow hope this forum can help out!!!
Jules
PS .... Do you like this laptop .... how bulky does it feel after a bit of use.... My only other concern is the weight and size for use when on my lap!!!
