I dont want my OH to see me in my dress until the moment i step into church, not for superstitious reasons, just because i want it to be a suprise.
I havent shown my OH any pictures of my dress, but i am pretty certain he may have seen one of it on the dressmakers dummy when he was flicking through the photos on my phone. I snatched it away, but may not have been quick enough!
Im also fairly certain my bridesmaids has told her husband (his best man) about my dress, as he made some comment about a train fit for westminster abbey when we were down the pub, to which he got a swift kick under the table from both me and his wife! Hoping my OH wasnt paying much attention to the comment.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

Ha ha. He was my driver when i bought my dress and my CBM kept telling him it was green, and brown and orange and i wouldn't be able to fit in the car and many more things. I think he was relieved when looking at suits i said his waistcoat has to be ivory or navy
I told him last night that this dress was very similar - http://www.uglydress.com/groomwasfiel.html LMAO:DStolen the OH's account so it's Jenna - not Neil:D0 -
since posting this thread, i went to try on dresses to see what style would suit me and found the dress that my daughter, friend and i love so i went back to my OH and told him about it and he asked if i had any photos, "no" was my reply, which i hadnt because we tried taking a photo but the dress did not look as nice and did not show up the detail on it, anyway i looked on the net and found it so i asked my OH if he would like to see it and he said "yes".the photo is nothing like the real thing and by the time we get married next year,he will have forgotten what it looks like anyway.0

I've shown my OH all the pics of dresses I've tried on so far! He has a great eye for what suits me, and I value his input. I've told him which one I'm keenest on and he was thrilled - but the pic of me in it is not that detailed, and I'm going to have adjustments made (sleeves added), so there's still the element of surprise. We're planning the wedding as a team, so I don't see why he shouldn't have the chance to comment on the dress, although I won't now show him any more pictures of it (fittings etc) so that he will forget it before the day. He's going to pick what he wants to wear, but we're going to go and try various options on together. I like it that way, as I think it will represent what our marriage will be like, but I fully understand the superstition about not letting the groom see!
If at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving isn't for you

I didn't show my husband my dress and he wasn't interested in seeing it before the wedding as he wanted it to be a suprise.
I can count on one hand how many times I've worn a dress since I'd been with him (8 years), so it was a big thing for me to wear one and a big thing for him to see me in one!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
