Cooker/Chimney Hood

I'm looking to replace my cooker hood with a stainless steel one, does anyone know/recommend where I can get a decent 60cm one for about £100? There are a few Designair ones in B&Q but these seem to have bad reviews due to Designair going bust and not being able to buy the filters anymore. Im preferably looking for a glass one but keeping my options open.

Opps we just had a design air hood fitted didn't know they had gone bust!

We want to get it vented but the installer wouldn't do it because the vent would go into a shared passageway.

Anyway your post got me worried but I have managed to track down the filters online here http://www.cookerhoodfilter.com/products.asp?cat=23 so it seems you can still get them although I might stock up LOL

Someone probably started making them when they realised there was demand.

Thanks for that. Which hood have you got and which filters from that link do you need? Also, do you recommend the hood?

Hmm, apparently b&q don't sell that one anymore. I don't suppose you know the height of it?

No I am afraid not. The top part the actual chimeny comes in two sections and is adjustable to different heights.

That ones a bit too big but thanks for the link as they do have 60cm ones too.
