Getting TVersity to work...

Just moved house. Previously it worked perfectly. Had a top broadband speed and had a brand new netgear wireless device to pick up flatmates broadband.

Since moving into our new flat, i still use the netgear device to pick up the internet (all be it a much slower speed). I can watch tversity BUT for 30 seconds or so at a time, it pauses, like its catching the movie from the pc, thinking then showing it.

Is it anything to do with the internet speed? I doubt it, but may aswell ask...

TVersity isn't something I have used, but I would say that a slow internet connection could definitely cause the issue you mention - sounds like it is buffering.
What connection speed do you have, try something like speedtest.net to check.
Another thing would be quality, so if you are trying to view HD stuff, is it an option to use SD.
  • Wireless is your problem. The signal is being degraded either by something like a wall in way or a confilict with a neighbours' signal.

Trying changing the channel. Better still get a wired connection and you won't have any problems, wireless is rarely good enough to stream anything more than 720p at the best of times.
Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit the Internet.
