Indesit & Guarantee?

Hi our 'Indesit' washing machine broke down over a week ago & the repair man said it needed a new module & motor? Its only 10 mths old?
We are still waiting for the parts to arrive & Indesit are not even saying how long it might take? They don't take into account personal circumstances like I have 2 disabled children & alot of washing each day is required. Where does one stand with the machine breaking down so soon? & is it possible to have a replacement washing machine? Indesit say NO?!

Appreciate any help

Indesit are correct, the have reasonable time to repair the fault. Reasonable time is not defined anywhere so there are no correct answers for that but 30 days should be long enough.

30 days too long in this day & age the part only has to come from Peterborough seemingly. I could pick it up my self.

Yes I agree with you, but trading standards wouldn't look at it untill around 28 to 30 days had passed.

Indesit are presumably repairing under their guarantee. It will totally depend upon the terms of the guarantee.

OP - you are better off pursuing the retailer.
