Its great to watch in all essence but i do believe that the cyclist was being deliberately obstructive in not handing over his details just so he could test the water with the copper..
But the copper really shouldve have known more about what he was saying rather then talking rubbish..
but great to watch

Maybe we need a new law.
Cyclist breaks the law, won't produce details or give his name, the pc gets a roadside crusher to come along, puts the bike in, gives him his little cube back, let him carry on walking on his way.
Stop the red light jumpers and the pavement cyclists.0 -
Can tell right from the start that if this was a motorist who'd been stopped by traffic police they'd be arrested as soon as they gave an excuse.
Cyclist is a tw:mad:t right from the start.0 -
I agree that the Police Officer should have known more about what he was talking about regarding the law. That's not to say that as a Police Officer you need to know exactly what legislation all the numerous laws you're enforcing fall under (you're entering a legal minefield if you start quoting laws to people!), but something a trivial as supplying a name and address is bread & butter stuff for a copper!
The cyclist was also an idiot, a Barrack-Room lawyer if you like. It's amazing how many people are studying law these days though...;). Even if he was a law student, I find that they just think they know what they're talking about most of the time. I think the Policeman was trying to blag it, rather than actually thinking a nmemonic was some sort of legislation.0 -

Yup, quite correct. Cop needs to know *his* rights. His powers of arrest should have been covered his first weeks on the job, it's basic law. He can't deal with an @rsey middle class bloke, not very good. He makes his first fail when he asks for 'documents', which is obviously foolish, and it doesn't get any better from there.0 -

I think its a good video ans shows that the Dibble think they are better then others.
However, I do feel like ramming cyclists off the roasd when they run red lights. Though I they do this, I normally go past them in 2nd gear and cover them in diesel soot0 -

Reminds me of a guy in a diesel Primera who booted it past a cyclist releasing plumes of smoke that he could probably chew on :rotfl:0 -

If I'd have been the pc, I've have took him back to the station and done a full search for drugs, then watched him try to get back on his saddle.0 -
