    Go back to Virgin... BT will send out an engineer and it will cost you £127.99

    if they send an engineer out i will be telling them down the phone that i will not paying there stupid fee as its their fault not mine!:rotfl:

    If it's an LLU connection and the fault is in the exchange equipment then yes, if it's the other majority of the equipment and line that you require then no other ISP will be able to magic you a line either... There are instances where a BB fault does not become apparent until you actually install the BB :) Until you know from BT WHAT is wrong then no-one can advise you properly on what you should do to get the fastest resolution...

    i know that another provider wont be able to connect me by next week as it takes 2 weeks i agreed to be connected to BT yesterday and they are not telling me it will take another week to transfer me over which is 3 weeks:mad:
  • Had the same problem. I ordered my line in January, I am still waiting and now they are telling me it will be another month. I cannot bare to speak to anyone else there and explain my four months worth of phone calls again so left today. Appalling service, feel utterly let down! I would prefer to use a dongle and mobile than deal with them. Whats worst is they have taken money out of my account, what for they couldnt even work out!

    I had a similar problerm with BT....Internet connection issues, BT Vision not working properly. It took them ages to sort it (4 weeks) they did refund me the 1 months unlimited bb and phone and 1 months tv. I advised them I was not happy with this as I had spent approx 10 hours on the phone trying to sort it out....they refunded me another month as a 'goodwill gesture'. I was happy with this, so although it took them an age, and I won't be renewing my contract when it ends they did eventually sort it out.
