went to our local matalan which is on a retail park with other shops ie:argos/halfords
anyway cut a long story short
i had my mum with me who is disabled but because her blue badge had expired we didnt use it but still parked in the disabled bay(please bear in mind ive been going to this retail park for yrs and never as it had a traffic warden on there)we were in argos 5mins n come out and the guy had JUST put it on
after explaning to him about my mum i asked him how long had he been 'hiding'on this car park he replyed over 2yrs(well i wont put my reply)lets just say he a lier!
anyway when ive come to pay this ive noticed its not by my council its by a firm down perth

its my 10th day tomorrow so id be really greatful if someone could tell me if im right in paying them or not

The blue badge scheme does apply in private car parks, this is just an invoice that is not enforceable so will not go anywhere near a court, the advice is to ignore completely, don't communicate with them and don't appeal as it's not independent and basically bogus !

It's a limited company, they cant impose fines.

Ignore it and any begging letters that may follow.

REALLY? this is a first for me but a friend as got one from the council themselfs(if mine was from the council then i would of paid it)
it just makes me think he had tcp on his jacket but doesnt say anything about them on the ticket!
there are signs up tho does that matter?

It is often in your favour to contest council PCNs. This isn't such but I make the point regardless.

No, ignore them .. only police, councils and courts can impose fines or penalties.

and don't contact them, it gets 'em all excited . . .
