Swan microwave problems?

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
Have a new Swan microwave, only been in use for 10 days. It keeps cutting out. Seems to get really hot and belches steam sometimes, and sometimes cuts off alltogether, but leave it about 5 mins (cooling down?) and it will work again for few minutes. Anyone know if it should have a fan system and is it cutting out as a safety mechanism? TIA.

    Why don't you just take it back to where you bought it? It's obviously not right.
    I can afford anything that I want.
    Just so long as I don't want much.

    Yes, thanks, just wasn't sure whether or not this was normal on a bog standard model. Had an all singing, all dancing one before.
