I think it's probably more people second-guessing the "code words" and booking before the 'legitimate' applicants..

Have managed to book one, sometimes two Sun holidays every year since the promotion first started.

    This year absolutely nothing!

    :(

defo less holidays this year, as i say in previuos post i have never had a problem booking a holiday in all the other promotions, i know going from 4 to 5 person holiday would make it slightly harder, but even last year when we went from a 4 person family to a 5 person holiday, we still managed to get our 2nd park of choice(1st park was butlins and that was never gonna happen) and 1st choice date, so it cant make that much of a difference, but i cant get a holiday anywhere this year, normally when you put 3 parks and 3 dates in and it cant match any of them, it will suggest a park and date that is available around the places you have tried, but it has not even done that once and i must have tried booking at least 4 times a day since it opened last wednesday:mad:, so there is defo less holidays this year, i am still clinging on to the hope they do this year, what they did last year, and open up more holiday, end of may/beginning of june time, and open up the websie for us to book a summer holiday
Take every day as it comes!!

Bloody marvellous, got an email half an hour ago saying they have now added thousands of more holidays, and opened up the website, so that you dont even need a code to book, so went straight on it, and still cant find a holiday:eek::mad:

Word of warning about booking for Whitley Bay. Just come back from having booked a Sun weekend break (booked in jan I think) at the park 1st apr - 4th apr and they had over booked. i.e. no caravans left. About 6 groups ended up been put up in a Premier Inn for a night (some with young kids) and then on returning following morning asked if we would like to stay in a caravan which had no toilet, shower or kitchen plumbed in! You think I'm joking don't you! Well I'm not. We rang at 4.10pm before we set off to let them know we would be arriving a little late but they said 'we will see you later'. The best bit was the fact the security man gave us the AA route planner directions (supposedly to the premier inn 4 miles away) to a completely wrong place! Some people had been traipsing around all over the place before finding the hotel.
Park Resorts obviously didn't meet minimum standards of simply providing a caravan with self-catering facilities and didn't notify us before setting off.

    Warning avoid.

a bit of a mistake yes, but it works for me, i click the link in the email and i can try and book without entering booking reference number or codes, mind you the word is try, as i cant seem to get anything:mad:, i suppose if i posted the link from the email other people should in theory be able to try and book a holiday without having a priority booking number, but i dont mean to seem selfish, but i am not going to do this, as it may only let 1 holiday ne booked, and i am still trying on a daily basis to find something suitable, hoping that they add more holidays, and dont want to miss the oppurtunity because i have been kind enough to post link in here and it only lets 1 holiday be booked, Sorry every1

  • I have one too and the link from the email looks personalised as it has my email address in the url plus some codes that I guess would relate to my account. I had a look just now and when I got it and to me it seems that there are now many less August holidays available. When the 'bookers' code word was guessed there were quite a few around the 29th but now there are none of the choices I put in then available. Maybe there might be some in the July Sun Hols offer (I think someone said they do one around then)?
