Showers in London?

I couldn't quite decide where to put this, so I'll PM a BG to move to another forum if I don't get any responses.

I wondered if anyone knew of where I could get a shower in London, other than Heathrow or Kings Cross? Victoria apparently doesn't have shower facilities anymore and I was wondering what my options were?

I found a club for cyclists/runners online, but I'm looking for one off use, not a monthly membership! I don't live in London normally, so it would be of no good to me.

I'm going to be travelling from quite far away for an interview in London, so will need to freshen up before meeting the recruiters.

Thanks for any suggestions. :)

You may get more replies if you post where you are arriving/interviewing in London.

    Thanks.:)

I'm arriving at Victoria - interview would be near Piccadilly.

Is there a local leisure centre with a public swimming pool that you could use their shower facilities? Failing that how about a quick freshen up with wet wipes etc in a disabled toilet?

I know there's a health club/gym in the Le Meridien Hotel, but I just had a quick glance at their website to see that it was £25 for a day pass - ouch. I'd probably pick the disabled loo option for a change and freshen up instead.

    FWIW this:

says that they do, though presumably you've been given more up-to-date information at the station?

Website is bad. On that first page you link, it says Showers. But on the next page in the detail, it says "There are no longer any showers at Victoria station.".

Not your fault - bad website. (Wonders who to tell tomorrow ...)

OP - might be worth considering a backpacker's hostel? You could call one or two of them, see if you can pay to use their showers without paying for a bed.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. :) Dacouch, I couldn't see anything on that club's website to suggest you could use the showers - I can give them a ring to check, but I wondered if you knew whether this was a facility they offered?

Tigsteroonie, I'll have a look online to see if there are any close to where I will be and give them a call. :)

Thinking about it as a last resort! :)
