it doesnt help when the bank chcks credit at people who cant afford it, not that thats a good excuse but i was a housewife and my husband was on minimum wage at the time and as we were 18 they gave us credit cards with £7k limits each. we were fools as well though0

Yeah you don't get that these days, alot of companies/banks tightening up - you read same stories on here daily, people rack up big balances >> can't afford payments >> start moaning about people chasing there money back...The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.0

Well as long as they're there still mainstream is unlikely. Plus, you've only had this card since August which isn't that long anyway, so just be happpy with the ones you've got dobn't have a rolling balance and work on satisfying the defaults.
