Exchanging paper for photocard lisence question?
Options
Hi,
I know my other half is way behind...been nagging him for what seems like years and he's finally got off his butt to do it lol.
Anyway his paper liscence is from our old address...moved recently and so need to both exchange the paper for photo and change the address but I think I read somewhere on the form that you can't do the two at the same time?
Can you?
Thanks!

as stated above, when you send in your paper license for change of address or any other reason it will be exchanged for a photo license, i dont think there is a charge for your first one. sorry it costs £20Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

I managed to put my old paper license thru the wash, all I got out were 3 bits of greeny sellotape.:o
Now I haven't changed address, but DVLA wont let me have a paper license, say I've got to have a photocard one at £20, same as a lost license or updated photocard.
Maybe I should move and get a change of address one for free.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. I'd recommend getting a certified copy of your paper licence made before sending it off. Far too many people have had their licences comes back with things missing, most notably the C1 entitlement to drive a 7.5 tonne van, but also things like motorbike licences and so on.
The DVLA wont accept any complaints about this if you do not have a certified copy.0 -
