receiving post for previous owners

I bought my house in 1997 .For a while I received some post for the previous owner which I redirected .The previous owners mover a few times so I lost contact and the post stopped until last month .

I received a payslip from an agency addressed to the son off the previous owner (he was about 5 when he left here ) .I phoned the agency and told them he hadnt lived here since he was 5 and he was not to use my address .
Two weeks later I received another payslip for him .
I phoned the local branch off the agency and told them the situation .

Today I received another payslip .
I think he is pulling some kind off scam but what should i do next.

Just send them back, write on the envelope 'Not at this address'. Not sure what else you can do. Does seem odd though, can't think of any advantage to him from this but hopefully someone better at conspiracy theories will be along later with cunning ideas.

Write to them restating the phone call you had with them (with date you called, if possible, and name of person you spoke to) and tell them to stop immediately or you will be seeking legal advice. Make a copy of the signed letter for yourself before you post it. And I would send it recorded delivery just ot be sure. A hassle, I know, but you need to make sure that if this is a scam it's stopped as far as you're concerned.

Return them to sender, if you get more, just chuck em in the bin and don't worry about it.

With this sort of thing, I tend to think of the sorts of visits you might get to the door as a consequence.

I would feel inclined to write to the Agency, returning 1 payslip and hang on to the rest, to hand over as required if they don't stop and officialdom gets involved.

Unlikely given it's just payslips, and even if somebody turns up, you tell them to go away.
In all likelihood the Agency have made an admin error, or the lad has given them out of date ID. Life's too short to bother worrying or caring about these things.

    From when he was five?

Check what else he's using your address for: electoral register? Credit (check equifax etc)?

I have checked my credit file and he is not showing up at my address .
I did hear from an unreliable source that his parents had split some time ago .
my thoughts are he is living with someone who is claiming benefits and his income would effect the benefits but I am only guessing

I would guess he is in receipt of benefits at his own address but also working/using yours.

    Definitely let the agency know.
