Free online cognitive behaviour therapy-depression

Hi all,
I posted this on the depression thread but I think it may become buried very soon so here it is again.
A psychologist treating me for depression recommended this website and I find it useful for practising cognitive behaviour therapy methods. You register and then it stores your details and place until the next time you log in. It is quite lengthy so will last a long time. If you can motivate yourself to try it, it is well worth it.

Good Luck and I hope it helps someone!

  • Living Life to the Full Website Free Online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Life skills course. It would be interesting if someone did this and the Australian Mood gym one with this Scottish version and reported back comments as applicable so folks could compare them.

  • Thanks, I just had a look at the Living Life to the Full website and like the look of it more than the one I mentioned. I will try it out for a while and let you know if it helps.

Do have a look at the links it put in this reply as they apply to anyone on the threshold of depression. Exercise, Diet, sunlight or it's equivalent vitamin d3, are basic to dealing with stress. A combined wholistic approach where mind and body are dealt with together stands a much better chance than just dealing with the symptoms.
