    Each to their own, I'd just want a little bit more comfort if parting with that sort of money for a small car. (not a bottom of the range car hater - I drive a Kia Picanto 1.0 '1')

    My parents both have Fiestas, but when I wanted a new car, I bought the most basic Panda. It was maybe half the price of the Fiesta, low road tax, and not too many bits to go wrong. Since I bought it, one of the Fiestas developed a fault that Ford don't know how to fix, so I think I chose ok!
