Wife likes the look of the Suzuki swift, thinking of a 1 to 2 year old 1.5 petrol.

Anyone got one, what are your opinions.

Could we fit 3 adults in the back for short journeys of a couple of miles.

I have read honest john and they seem to get good reviews

Company I used to work for have a couple in their fleet which must be pushing 200k miles and they're still using them so that speaks volumes :D (alongside Toyota Yaris and other such bombproof cars)

    Never driven one though

The engine is a Toyota lump, originally designed by Daihatsu I believe. The cars themselves do seem to be pretty much bombproof -- I know one work colleague who commuted 100 miles a day in one for three years and I don't remember it being in the garage for anything other than services.

Meant to be very highly rated. Never driven one, but if i was looking for a car in that sector that would be very high up my list of potentials.
