Jet washer parts advice.

Hello.
I have a Challenge DW1800BH washer that i got from Argos 4/5 years ago.
At the weekend i got it out of the consrvatory to use on the paving slabs. Water gushed out of the trigger part. Took it apart and the hose is ok but i thing the parts from there to where the lance goes has a leak. Not sure if the o rings or someting else has broke.
Had a look for a new trigger/gun or lance and there is one on Amazon but it has a threaded connector but on mine the hose has a round barrel connector on the hose which goes inside the gun and connects to the water release part of the trigger.
Is there a like for like replacement or can i get the new lance with the screw thread and get an adaptor to connect my barrel fitting to the new screw fitting.
Thank you.

If it is the push fit type of connector, then it may just be the O ring as this happened to my Kaacher pressure washer. They are a universal O ring that you can pickup for a few pence from local hardware shops or B&Q (or similar). If you want to get spanked for the money go to a garden centre. The ones in Screwfix make it cheaper to buy the whole fitting then just take the O ring off. Sorry forgot to say they are the same as Hoselock stuff.
    Happy hunting.

sounds like its the trigger casing thats failed, there is no repair and you just have to buy a new trigger/lance and attach it.

I've used cheap jet washes before and this often happens after a few uses and bit of wear and tear, but I expect nothing more for a cheap disposable product.

    Thank you for the replies.

A mate has given me a working trigger and lances to fit it. The probleb is the it has a screw thread where you attach the hose from the washer to the lance part. As i have said my washer hose only has a round barrel connector that fits inside the trigger/lance part.
Can i cut my hose and get a 1/4 " threaded female fitting and attatch it to the end of the hose so it will fit the new lance?.
I dont know where you can get these fittings from if it was possible though.
    Thank you.
