network security key

have just got a laptop and it is asking for my security network key,it is probably staring me in the face but where will I find it?::o

    i got a card with my router and i am with sky so that might be the key that your laptop needs, if you are with another network you might have got it in a letter.
  • They are often on a sticker on your router.

    It's stored in your router, attach with an ethernet cable and login to the router config screen (google it)

    you need the network key code you have set up with the router,its usually written on the side unless you have changed it in your settings.
