you are supposed to set your secondary unit price into the eon monitor, as this is where most of the usage will be. It will likely be the same with your BG monitor.
You have set it up wrong! So your £5 a day will pretty much be cut in half.
I don't know about regulating the energy companies - but those b****y monitors should be banned ! They cause more aggro than they are worth - what's wrong with reading the meter ?0 -
If your electricity bill comes to £110 for 900 kWh then you set your tariff rate to 12p 110/900.
If you get charged £150 for the 900 kWh then you should set it to 17p0 -
