Car insurance query

Hi everyone,
I have until now been driving on a policy as a named driver but now want to get my own car and policy. There have been two no fault claims on the policy and I was driving both times. Now then when I come to buying my policy will I have to say I have had two claims OR will the claims be by the policy holder (my mother)? Who was not driving. Do I have a 0 no claims bonus as never had my own policy?

Hi - you will have to declare both these claims but as non fault ones. You will not be able to get any NCD but Quinn Direct* may give a discount for being a named driver.Otherwise https://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk are usually cheap for 1st time policyholders.
