Im wondering if someone can please help me out with this....
I used to use Word 2007 and had a fairly decent CV template but can't remember what it was called - my computer exploded last week and Ive lost everything including my CV, at present Im borrowing an old computer which only has Word 2003. It only has 3 templates all of which are rubbish and looking online I can't find anything like my old one on 07.
So firstly is there anyway of finding this standard Word 2007 template anywhere, Ive done a search online but had no luck.
Secondly if anyone can point me in the direction of a link to them is there anyway that I can open it in 2003?
Really need my CV sorted for this afternoon:o

Install the "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats." (As per link above from m5rcc who just beat me to it...)0 -
could you download a trial version of Office 2010 (which should be able to open any .doc or .docx file) and use that?"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

Thanks but unfortunatly the compatability pack only works for .docx files rather than the .dotx files which are templates...MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Make sure you are connected to the Internet and start Word
All in Word 2003:
1) Ensure that you can see the task pane at the Right hand side
Select View>task pane if you can't see it.
2) Select File>New
3) The task pane title switches from Getting started to New document
4) Under Templates Search online for for type CV in the box
5) Hit enter or click on Go
6) You should now see a big list of CV templates
