Just a suggestion but have you considered Boots Smooth Skin? There's an ongoing thread on here somewhere...

I have one and am really glad I bought it. Haven't used it for a while actually and really want to start on my legs. However I did my bikini line for the initial set of sessions, and it's been great ever since.
I swim regularly, but only have to tweak my bikini line once every few months. And if I actually bother to get the Smooth Skin out again I think a few more treatments would quickly reduce that to never
