I have a friend who I have put on wireless router, its works fine with cable fitted, also in unsecure mode , but when i put on secure mode it just wont connect/find/accept - anyone else had this problem? Its like it doesn't recognise the code -

make sure you set the encryption type on the router to match your devices, i.e. no good using WEP on the router if your devices don't go that far back. Set router to use WPA, change the key, and then try reconnecting devices via wifi to the router

oh, and the obvious one, that the router's wifi is switched ON

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
