I know this must sound daft but can someone explain how to connect together the following so that they will work because iv'e tried and tried to no avail?
Samsung PS42C450 42-inch 600Hz Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV with Freeview 1 scart
SAMSUNG DVD-SH893M 160GB DVD 1080P RECORDER DIVX USB 2 scart
Panasonic sky box (about 8 years old basic no frills) 2 scart
Commtel 42532070 Powered 3 into 1 Auto Scart Selector which I got for the lack of scart connectors with the TV, did I do right?
The instruction book that comes with the recorder is not very helpfull at all, aerial connection is not shown which has me stumped not being very techie with all these modern gadgets leaves me frustrated. I've gone on Samsungs web site "How to guides" with their products but that was a waste of time. I could do with some help to set them up before I end up pulling all my hair out.

ditch the scart spliter
connect the DVD to the tv then run sky through the DVD player so you select the sky channel from the dvd player .. although you wrer going to record something
