I have just logged into online accounts, if you type your birthday once in there it shows you all of your pin. How unsecure is that!

You need password to log in before obtaining the pin. So technically it is secure unless you make it not secure0

Exactly as secure as Egg and MBNA who've been doing it for ages, a fair bit more secure than requesting your PIN in the post, and infinitely more secure than storing a written copy of your PIN in your wallet!0

Make sure you have a secure password on the account
i.e. long mixture of numbers, letters and ascii characters, don't use same password for multiple accounts and don't write it down.0 -

They may do but if that was the case that means they also had your user name and password to log in.
I never seen you make a post saying password was a problem. If your pass is safe then so is your pin. What can someone do with a pin? They need your card as well.
So unless someone burgled your house and cloned your card and you were silly enough to leave password in the house then that would be an issue, I don't think you are like that so you are safe.0 -
Agree with the other posters here. A criminal will need you card and PIN in order to do anything with it, and to get your PIN they need your internet banking logon and password. Even if they have those, you'll be notified by email whenever your PIN is viewed, so if you get an email and it wasn't you give them a call and block your card sharpish
Remember - it's not exactly in Capital One's interest to make it substantially easier for people to commit fraud on their cards, so they will probably have thought these things through!0
