Hi.
Sorry to hear things aren't going so well. I am sure somebody will be along to help advise more soon enough but, I think if you phone your IP and explain the circumstances they will allow a payment break. I believe this break would just be tagged on to the end of your IVA term.0 -
If you miss a payment to your IVA it will not be the end of the worl but don't do it willy nilly!
Speak to your IP and organise it, it should be fairly straightforward to get a month off your payments without having to disrupt anything else. It's better to do these things up front.
Bear in mind also that your IP will not have to take action until you fall three months behind with your repayments - but you don't want to do that obviously! Keep yuour IP on board with any changes you foresee and he should be more than helpful in trying to make things run smoothly for you... a month payment "holiday" shouldn't ruffle too many feathers!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

As luck would have it, you are looking at just a month's break, which, as said above, I am sure your IP will be able to organise.0
