What can I do please?

I bought a van from a dealer on the 03/03/2011. I paid £1,495 for it. Its a Citreon Berling 52 plate with 67,000 miles on the clock.
Today it started making a really strange high pitched noise and it was smelling really badly so my husband asked the garage who have said that the clutch has gone which will cost £240.00 plus he thinks the "fly wheel"?? (unsure of spelling) is gone too which will be another £350.00 on top.
I am absolutely gutted. I havent got that much money and I am unsure if it is something I can take up with the dealer.
I desperately need my van for this weekend as its Mothers Day but its hard enough keeping a business going at the minute without all this.
Can anyone offer any advice please?

Even with a second hand car when bought through a dealer you have the same rights under the Sale Of Goods Act in that it should be of satisfactory quality taking into account the age of the car and the price paid. It should be fit for purpose
