Faulty item not collected - when does it become mine to dispose of?

I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to help me please?
I purchased a recycled plastic chicken ark from The Wild Store back in November, made by Solway Recycling. After some delays with delivery, it eventually arrived!
However I was very disappointed with it, it wasn't very well made, badly designed, the last straw was when the pop hole door fell down [due to inadequate mechanism for holding it] and almost decapitated one of the chickens
I never received an apology, the company were very off hand but I did eventually receive a replacement house [made by a different company!] from the supplier The Wild Store [who were extremely helpful and supportive].
Solway were supposed to be arranging collection - actually they expected me to lift it back onto the pallet by myself!! I managed to get friends to help and left it ready by the gate to the garden. This was in the middle of the severe weather. When it cleared a bit they asked for photos of the access road - although obviously the company had already been here to deliver it.
These were sent on 3rd December but I have heard nothing from them since. I did write and say that if it was not collected by a certain date then I would assume they no longer had an interest and dispose of it - but never had a response.
It's still sitting blocking the gate!! This is now a problem as we need that access to mow the grass. I do not see why I should pay for delivery back to them.
Please can you tell me how the law relates to this? I've given them the opportunity to collect it but they still have not done so, is there a time when it becomes mine to dispose of please?
