I don't know what your buyer's will make of a letter saying there are no plans for CP. How wierd would that be for a buyer to receive?

Imagine receiving a letter from your buyer's solicitor saying "there are no plans for a traveller's site in the area" or " there are no current plans for a fire station on the plot next door". Doesn't it raise more questions than it answers?

There wouldn't be any need to send the letter to the seller I wouldn't think, it's just for my records so i anything did happen to come up then it shows the council assured me there were no plans. Anyway I will speak to my solicitor about it if indeed this is what the council say, it all depends what they come back with when they phone me back.

I've spoken to someone in the planning Dept at the council as well as the person working on the project alongside the consultant company and there is absolutely no plans in place for any home to be demolished or any CPO's so much a do about nothing really! That's what you get for listening to neighbours gossip I suppose! The council's legal team also confirmed there were no plans like this in place. They also confirmed that if any plans like this were in place they would show up on the solicitor's searches so I'd be covered in that respect. The guy actually laughed when I told him so sounds like some old gossip getting the wrong end of the stick. It also appears that a lot of the houses in the area are on conservation land so can't be touched anyway (although not our street apparently) the guy also went on to say that council's haven't really got the money for this kind of thing at the moment either. He gave me some info on what they are actually looking at doing and told me to let poeple know when the next meeting was. Panic over!
