Hi
If I set a SO to be paid monthly starting from 31st of March, what will happen in April/February ? Is it going to be the last day of the current month or the 1st of the following month (assuming they are all workdays)?
HSBC Business if that makes a difference.

A standing order would normally be paid on the next business day if the day it was due didn't exist/was a non-banking day.0

Hello,
My first assumption was that it would go out on 31st (or next working day); so in this instance it would be the 1st of the following month.
However, after a little search I found that this has come up before in a previous thread. Here, the standing order left the account on 30th of the month (in a month with just 30 days).
The thread I mentioned is here (I can't post links but you can paste it):

I had a standing order setup for the 29th and in February that was paid out on the 1st March - this was with HSBC.0
