Hi All
I have gone overdrawn without permission on my Natwest Advantage Gold account. They are currently charging me £6 A DAY!
I am currently unemployed, and this is crippling, is there anyone I can get them to stop the interest until I am in a better position to put my acconut back in the positive again?
Thanks for any help

1. If you are unemployed why are you still paying £169 a year for your Advantage Gold Account. Why have you not switched to their "Current Plus Account"?
With the "Gold a/c" you looked to make sure
(a) you really use all the so called extras
(b) You can not get them cheaper as stand alones. Normally you can.0 -
Firstly I would downgrade your account to a Current plus to save money on the Advantage Gold Fee.
Secondly I would call Natwest on 02380 226443 option 2 and come to some arrangement with them to put your account back

Well I am unemployed only as of today. I got advantage gold purely for the travel insurance. I wanted to cancel but I was overseas for a long time and couldn't cancel by phone, so had to do by post which I was too lazy to do
I will give them a call tomorrow and see what can be done, I am shocked at £6 a day, that is pure evil. From now on I will not supply my debit card for any recurring payments, instead I will use a prepaid card so that this doesn't happen again.0
