Dual question regarding IB

Hi
I have a couple of questions about my Icapacity Benefit and I'm hoping someone can help before I approach the regional department. I'm on long term IB, I can be honest and say that I don't know what rate I'm on but I do get £190 bi-weekly if that makes any difference.
My first question is that I've heard someone talk about IB being means-testing and I'm aware of this to a certain extent but this person was talking about taking partner's salary into account. This worries me because I've been married for 18 months now and the department have never ask me about my husband's salary, I even spoke to someone on the phone before sending a copy of my marriage certificate. Can someone clarify?
The second being that my husband and I are TTC and I was also wondering if anyone knew of any additional benefits that I would be able to claim when the baby comes? I was told by someone in the department that it would affect my IB but she didn't mention any figures so I'm assuming it would be a + affect?
Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks

Incapacity Benefit is not means tested apart from if you have a pension over £85 per week. Your partners salary is not taken into account with Incapacity Benefit but it would be if you were on Income Support.0

From the rate that you mention you are on the same as me which is the long term rate with an age addition on it.
The best thing to do re any new entitlements is to visit your local CAB or Welfare Rights Service who should be able to advise youWeight Loss - 102lb0
