"Jobs" for bridesmaids on the day

lol - I've also tasked my MOH (also my only BM and my younger sister) with sorting out a Pamper basket for the ladies bathroom - ie deo, hair sprays, plasters, headache tabs, blusher etc0

I'm having mine giving out confetti for pictures but can't think of anything else off hand. According to one of my friends who has been a bridesmaid before, a big job is making sure that the bride
a) can fit into a toilet cubicle with her dress
b) doesn't dangle said dress into said toilet
c) doesn't leave the toilet with any layers of dress/petticoat tucked into knickers
d) can breathe in her dress after eating a three course meal (loosening as needed)
I'm sure there is more dress related fun to be had too! Mines not that big though so I think I will sidestep the majority of this0 -

Ignore the troll insomniac - it'll crawl off back to its cave soon enough

I laughed, if that helps...

My BMs are married as are the best man and ushers - except one BM is married to one of the ushers! So there may yet be some naughtiness!

The list of items provided by the other poster was great. I would add blotting tissue to the list .As wedding photographer i always bring it along and it removes oil from your skin and makes a huge difference to the photos. You can get it in Boots.
The only other thing i would add is that your bridesmaid needs to know to sort out your dress when you get out of the car.I was mortified to watch a wedding video recently and see myself sort out the dress as the bridesmaid was nowhere near us.0 -

Well, I thought it was funny!
When I was a bridesmaid to my friend, I spent most of my time pinning her train to her dress from the inside  The little hook that holds the train up snapped and it was so heavy it kept bending safety pins...0 -
