Account to get max interest

Im looking for an account where i could put money into and have some interest being paid while having the ability to take funds out as and when required.

My current account doesnt pay any interest except i have to meet the monthly pay-in amount but i dont like the idea of the rest of my money sitting there 'doing nothing'.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

How much money would you expect to have in the account at any time? (Some accounts pay decent interest on higher amounts, but very little on less.) Do you want to use this account as your current account, or have it as a separate savings account? Do you want it to be with the same bank as your current account? Will you know in advance (even a few days) when you need to withdraw money from it?

I dont mind what the account type is as long as im getting the maximum benefit. I already have an ISA and web saver account but they have limitations (if you take money out more than twice a year you dont get interest paid etc). I could provide 2/3 day notice to make a withdrawal.

Im interested in HiSave but making enquiries as to what would be the best package for my circumstances.

    Thanks
