Dont know how old your kids are (if you have any) but if you want to go crabbing at the seaside, pop a bit of cheap bacon inside, lower into quayside, hey presto crabs.

I use them for washing delicate things like lace in the WM :) If you wash your bras in the WM they're also good to wash those in, stops they getting quite so battered and stops the bra hook catching on other clothes.

  • I keep crayons and paper in them in my bag for when we go out for something to eat with DD and DS, as OH insists they dont have their mobiles or game console things, but even though their 15 and 12 both still need something to keep them occupied. :o

:) These are fantastic, don't chuck them, Freecyclers would leap at them, as another poster said.

I have one holding my silver emergency space blanket for when I go hiking and several others holding bits and bobs which would otherwise go walkabout. I use several on long backpacking/ camping trips. They weigh nothing, are synthetic so dry easily, you can keep soap in them without it going gunky.

They also have those fabulous sprung toggles as a closure mechanism which you can re-use on home-made drawstring bags. Check out the price of those babies in the haberdashery or the outdoorsy store and you'll never ever want to part with them!

Us seed savers use them to keep potato fruits on the plant at the lottie - otherwise people or animals take them off and we can't use them for next year's potato seeds...[not to be confused with seed potatoes - it's the step before you get those]...
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

  • Thanks for all these. I actually have some with the crab nets already :)

The hair stuff it all sorted and I have a few left so going to try some of these. I have so many yet can't ever remember having that many washing tablets! I think my mum used to buy them for me!

I don't think the wires from J cup bras fit in them though :rotfl:

  • I’ve got a great use for your spare bags as I am running a children’s crabbing competition later in the summer and they are great to hold bait and for the crabs to grab the bag.

I would love to take your bags off your hands and am happy to pay a reasonable cost plus postage. How many have you got?
