Disaster strikes already - think I might have a few of these

Ok you're probably going to think I'm a pain within a week but another question

Decided to make a microwave sponge, eggs flour butter etc as had it all in, anyway messed up on the ingredients, made probably twice as much and ended up filling a large pirex dish:eek: . Don't want the kids just using it as an excuse to eat lots of cake (they helped)

Any way I can store it, can I freeze it ?

Thanks for your patience, I would have normally just bought one, DP thought it was strange as I have actually bought flour!
One day I might be more organised...........

    One I used was
    ***Microwave Sponge Pudding***

    INGREDIENTS

    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tablespoons milk

    DIRECTIONS

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg and milk gradually, so as not to curdle the butter. Sift in the flour, and fold in gently. Transfer to a 1 pint microwave-safe bowl. (or a huge pirex dish if you end up with too much like us :rotfl: )

Cover, and cook for 3 1/2 minutes on full power, or until the pudding appears set when gently jiggled, and the top is sticky. (ours took almost 4 1/2 oops)
