I was running Imgburn in sandboxie, and burnt a DVD that worked on another computer. Without thinking I cleared the sandbox, and now obviously the dvd is blank and no longer works.

The implications are startling... :0

Where were the original files you used to burn the DVD? also and most importantly where is the physical DVD that you'd produced?

Surely if you have any of the above then you have not lost anything by clearing Sandboxie.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

Hahaha - yup sandboxie is truly amazing. It can wipe WORM disks, and create telepathic connections with other computers :)

I think the DVD must have existed in two states - the first being part of the virtual system with sandboxie that was written on, and the second state was one where the DVD was not part of that system and so had not been burnt. By clearing the sandbox, it must have collapsed the wave function and the latter eigenstate chosen. This would mean technically it wasn't really wiped, but was blank all along.

I'll have a look in the local pages for a quantum mechanic to take a look at it... or if anyone knows a reptuable one please tell me. I'm a bit out of my depth when it comes to this kind of stuff.
