same here, we have been with them for nearly 2 years, all good, mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -
Happy here, been with them for 6 months on talktalk plus paying £27 pm.
The reason why they have a poor reputation is simply because the sheer number of customers they have. So if TalkTalk have 5 million customers and 10% are unhappy = 500,000 dissatisfied customers. Now if a small ISP has 1000 customers and 10% are unhappy = 100 unhappy customers. Now which ISP will get all the headlines? It certainly isn't the latter!0 -

TT of course as they are responsible for the highest number of dissatisfied customers.0 -
My package from talk talk was decent. Until recently I had no issues with the BB either. It is only a recent problem I have had with losing BB intermitantly. My main annoyance with them is to do with their verbal abuse when you try to ask about a problem (loss of BB) or refuse to tie yourself in for a further 12/24months. They also come accross as very arrogant. This is not simply one of thier 'customer support' team it is several. I also have been offered a better deal from sky now.
I have had no problems with the phone line. The BB signal issue is intermittant (may not always be their fault either). The costs were competitive at the time I was forced into using talktalk.
I am sure I am one of the people you think of when you mentioned dissatisfied customers so I thought it only fair to give the flip side, as I have not always had problems with them.
I do not find them terrible, just dont talk to them and you will have no issues with them imo.

I have been content with my service from TalkTalk. However from the many criticisms and complaints I see, TalkTalk seem not to be able to generate customer trust and satisfaction for continued loyalty. Their main problem is telephone customer support. Overseas call centres where your words are not understood and you do not understand what is being said to you. My recommendations, if anyone is thinking of using TalkTalk are:
1. Do NOT talk with them on the telephone to agree a contract. They seem to use agressive marketing techniques.
2. Use email to clarify what you are being offered. At least you will have some evidence if you feel you are being cheated.
3. NEVER accept more than a 12 month contract.
4. If you have a problem, the TalkTalk Members Forum with their plain English speaking representatives appears to resolve issues.
5. Repeated again. NEVER phone their customer services. Trying to understand what is being said in overseas English is guaranteed to cause stress.0 -
They are aggressive and also even when you threaten to leave them and then leave when they still continue to harass you they still ignore your wishes and then pester you again on phone and at the door. It puts me off any company who continue to be aggressive in this way
Pests dont leave you alone even when you leave

I am very happy with TT, i pay £24 a month for anytime phone calls line rental and internet. I have been with them for 3 years and have recommended them to family and friends. When i went wireless with TT customer services spent nearly 2 hours talking me through setting it up as i am not very computer literate, you don't get that kind of service from many suppliers!!!
