Any washing machine mechanics about please? Son's washer dryer gone berserk. Its 3 years old (integrated into kitchen unit when he bought the flat) and has been fine til now. Then the clothes were still wet at the end of a cycle. He opened up the drainage bits to make sure there wasnt a blockage and there wasnt anything, nor pipes kinked and so on.
Tried again and the dial was just going through all the programs one after another very quickly- ie. a bit of water sprayed in, then on to the next program and so on to the end.
Can anyone suggest cause of this please? Not sure whether to bite the bullet and get a new washer/dryer or pay for a repair? There are no laundrettes where he lives so he has baskets of wettish washing in the flat now
Many thanks.
