MrsChaos - Mum won't come over to me as the kiddies get on her nerves!!! Its the noise they make apparently!!! Although I'm quite happy that she isn't over here as that means that I can leave hers when I've had enough, there are signs that she is becoming a bitter, old, twisted woman [signs that started before Dad died] Shame really as she used to be a lovely lovely lady but getting older is taking its toll.

Toots - you read my mind cos thats exactly what I intend to do and there is no way that I am willing to put Mum before kiddies or my marriage, thankyou lovely lady x

Ohhh its like coming home when you come on here

Not good with keeping up. This thread moves so fast.
Hugs and best wishes to all who need or want them.
I intend to try really hard this week. I want this bomb site to look acceptable and get rid of CHAOS as it is getting me down.
I need a boot up the derriere!
Hopefully I will achieve this week :)

Helen - welcome back! I know what you mean about mothers..... mine will come and visit - we are 100 miles apart - but 4 about 4 hours. I never liked staying with her with the kids - the noise aspect she just couldn't cope with. She never had any help from her mum... and has happily repeated the pattern!

I realised how far apart we were whan the eldest, aged 2, threw up all over me whilst she was sat on my knee! I was urged to 'put her on the floor and let her get on with it!'

Father-in-law also managed to alienate every friend he had before he died last year.....

I'm in this week - didn't fly properly last week - Aunt Flo is imminent and I'm suffering from a serious case of CBA! So gotta get a wriggle on!

Morning all, bit of a frost here but hoping it turns out to be a good day. Plan on filling the line again.:rotfl:

    Right best go go go....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
