I have another question for all you organised people – where do you store your library books? We visit the library regularly – normally once a week – but I’m not sure the bookshelf is the best place for the books as I sometimes end up with fines for books I’ve forgotten we’ve borrowed. We’re doing the book crawl for my daughter too. She gets a certificate for every four visits to the library – how sad am I – she’s 21 weeks old she doesn’t know what’s happening!
OK I’m off to tackle the cupboard.

We have a library book box. It sits in the living room. The children know to return books to it. We also pop the odd magazine in too. My youngest got his library card at 1 month old!:rotfl: HTH0 -

Thanks for all your replies about the library books. LW - your idea is great but my phone is so old I'm not sure it does that and if it does I don't know how to make it! I'm going to try and remember to write the titles in my diary at the library on the date due back though.
I've also found a special place for them in the living room as cat_smith and chloris reccommended. Here's to hoping I get no more fines!
Thanks Sammiell I am feeling a lot more positive. I think it helps that Scarletts slept much better for 2 out of the last 3 nights so I'm only getting up for one night time feed rather than 6 or so. (She doesn't do anything in between either its just 4am, or its 10pm, 12am, 1am, 2am, 4am and 6am!) It's been 4 weeks since she last regularly slept through the night so I've been thouroughly exhausted.
I'm really pleased with how much I've got done today as I did a bit more than I thought I would.
Tomorrow I will tackle the paper draw and toy box and then I can start on the list for cleaning.

Does your library have an online system where you can look at what you have out on loan and renew etc? We check ours weekly, and always renew what's already out if we add more to them, then they all have the same date to go back.

MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Off to vacuum but it's a struggle - I'd rather play on Facebook! My plans for a quiet evening are a bit scuppered as I've just had 2 jobs sent to me by the new bloke I'm typing for and he needs them back tomorrow. Ho hum!!
Dancemum, I'll join you but am starting now otherwise I won't do it!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
