Hi,
can anyone recomend a good AI in spain? Hubby wont fly for more than 2 hours so limited to spain really, we have two kids (5 & 14) and are looking for somewhere clean that serves good food not been away for 6 years so no idea where is nice, looking at begining of June, like the look of the holiday villages but think they might be too expensive
thanks in advance

Last year we were lucky to have 4 holidays, Tenerife, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, All except majorca were AI and we stopped at the Fiesta Tanit in August and it was the worst AI Hotel I have ever stopped in. The hotel room was really nice but the food, entertainment and service were terrible and the other guests were not people who I would like to spend another day with (never mind a holiday!)
It is No 1 in my list of hotels to never ever visit again.
It is very cheap for a reason.

Been to Club Mac in Alcudia twice. Good value, plenty for the kids to do and free entry to Waterpark next door. Can get very busy in school holidays but should be quieter in June.
  • We went to Club Europa in Paguera, Majorca the year before last

    their site - hotelclubeuropa.com

    some reviews - tripadvisor.co.uk/hotel_review-gs580307-ds573173-Reviews-Hotel_Club_Europa-peguera_Majorca_Balearic_Islands.html

Food was very goodm entertainment for kids (kids club) and adults (anmiacion activities like archery, water polo, darts etc) was good, with various activities through the day and the mini-disco followed by different things in the evening.

We booked directly with the hotel (via booking.com). We got a 1 bedroomed apartment - which was good, however the paths around the complex can be a little slippy (we had a bit of a climb from the main pool to our room - but it wasn;t too bad (pushing a pushchair was a little difficult))

There weren;t too many brits around when we went (Early Sept) but that doesn't bother us and had a good time with other guests. When we went they had the annual tourism event - which comprised of street parades and various stalls offering food and drink samples.

We would certainly go back - drop me a line if you have any specific questions - i will see what i can answer)

    Cheers
    Mark

we have been for the last 5 years, a very family friendly based hotel

try travel republic for a good deal or look at booking DIY the savings can be massive compared to using a travel agent

We stayed here when we went to Magaluf, beware it is only a 10 min walk, and lots of groups of teenagers/stag/hen do's were there when we were! However, it was a really nice hotel, always clean and the food was always really good!

    Hi,

We have booked the Sirenis Seaview for the 3rd time this year, its excellent for the kids, rooms are cleaned daily, we go self catering so cant comment on AI.
There is a nice taxi boat that goes from the hotel to San Antonio, takes about 10 mins.
