Tenerife South Airport to Los Cristianos

Hi, can anyone recommend a cheap way to get from TFS airport to Los Cristianos centre? Or would it just be easier to pay for a taxi?

It will be about 20 euros in a cab. It's 24 to Fanabe. We used to get a shuttle but the last couple of times it took over an hour to get to the hotel, once it was 1 1/2 hours, and then they want to pick you up 4 hours before your flight back. The cab trip takes about 10 minutes. Depends how many there are of you, any more than 2 and the cab will be about the same price as shuttle.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Local bus is very easy to the centre of Los Cristianos. Buses stop outside the terminal, and it is just under €2 per adult to Los Cristianos. The journey is more or less direct down the highway, it doesn't go round the houses or anything.

It is route number 111, operated by Titsa. Just be careful to make sure the bus is going in the right direction, as the route runs from Playa de Las Americas right to Santa Cruz, and airport is an intermediate stop. So if you get on the wrong one you'll be heading North to Santa Cruz. It is very easy though, the buses even have storage below for suitcases like coaches do.

I'd second the bus. They are coaches really, very comfortable with aircon, etc.

They run every 30 minutes - timetables here

Bus is comfortable and cheap but depending on where you are staying you might need a taxi from the Los Cristianos bus terminus to your hotel - another 5 euros or so.
